1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of vett.work. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

2. Candidate terms

Accuracy of information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide — including your CV, video responses, uploaded documents, and any other profile information — is accurate, current, and not misleading.

vett.work does not verify the accuracy of candidate-provided information. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate account termination.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content to vett.work you grant us a licence to store and display it to employers in accordance with your privacy settings.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.

Video recordings

Your video clips are your own recording of yourself answering AI-generated questions. You consent to these videos being stored and shared with employers in accordance with your privacy settings.

Payments

All payments are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law. Once your video profile has been generated, the service has been delivered.

3. Employer terms

Candidate information is self-reported and unverified

Important: All candidate information on vett.work — including CVs, video responses, uploaded documents, qualifications, and work history — is self-reported by candidates. vett.work does not verify, certify, or guarantee the accuracy of any candidate-provided information.

Employers are solely responsible for:

vett.work is a platform that connects candidates and employers. We are not a recruitment agency and we make no guarantee that any candidate is suitable for any role. We are not liable for any hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or losses arising from your use of the platform.

Appropriate use of candidate data

Candidate profiles and videos accessed through vett.work may only be used for legitimate hiring purposes. You must not:

Job listings

Job listings must be for genuine roles. You must not post fake, misleading, or discriminatory listings. vett.work reserves the right to remove any listing at our discretion.

4. Platform rules — all users

5. Intellectual property

The vett.work platform, brand, and technology are owned by Vett. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vett.work and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions, employment disputes, or reliance on candidate-provided information.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms. We'll notify you of significant changes by email.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
